Right guys best striker in the world??? Top 3 please

1 Raul Blanco Real madrid (he is still madrid's key player as he has one all 3 of there recent champions league victories score's goals and is very astute, the complete forward

    2 Shevchenko Ac milan

3 Christian Vieri Inter powerhouse i would say he is the shearer of italian soccer

But i think it was a tough choice!!! That's why i'm interested to see what others have to say! Trezeguet, del piero, crespo, van nistelrooy, kluivert,Henry,Zola,Ronaldo,Saviola are just some of the strikers in a long list that could make your top 3!

All good choices. I totally agree with Raúl and Christian Vieri. By Christ, I'd like to see the two of them up front together for Real Madrid. But, 'strikers' and how good they are can usually be told from the number of goals they score. On this point alone, I find Ronaldo an absolutly AMAZING omission from the list. so here's my top 3:
    1. Raúl
    2. Ronaldo
    3. Vieri.

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

    it has to be

    Raul,
    Ronaldo,
    Henry,

These players can not only score goals but they can make them as well for themselves as well as others.

I don't think you can say the same about
    Van Nistelrooy, Vieri etc.

Van Nistelrooy, yes. Vieri...NO, NO, NO!! Look at the Inter v Newcastle game in the San Siro. Vieri scored 1, AND laid on one other goal.

    1. Raul ( anywhere anytime...he's lethal)
    2. Van Nistelrooy ( super goalscorer)
    3. Ronaldo ( considerin what he's been through in the last 5 years he's still an unbelievable talent)

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Am surprised to see so many votes for Ronaldo. He hasnt looked too sharp in the CL. Then again he is Reals top scorer in La Liga so its not all bad.

    1. Raul - even Fergie thinks he is best

    2. Van Nisterooy - performs the role of 2 strikers and still nets 30+ a season. His record with Utd is almost a goal a game I believe which is unmatched in any league.

    3. Vieri. Always scoring.

Kluivert is still up there with the best aswell, I think he's just been as Barca so long he is gone maybe a little stale. That said h is probably the first name on their teamsheet and has been for a few seasons. Rarely injured (lately) also which is a bonus.

3 of Raul, Ruud, Vieri and Shevenco. Id prbaby put Raul at the bottom of that 4 if pushed, simply because the other 3 are stronger than him but then again you cant argue against his record.
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
