Yeah, I'd have thought this wasm more of a 'General Soccer' thread. To be honest, I'm not exactly over the moon about Albania winning. Well I am, but, we now have to play them in Tirana on Wednesday. They will tear into us seeing as they have nothing to lose. They're now eyeing the play-offs, and the last thing Ireland can afford to be is complacent.

The Albania result is definately good, now we have a great chance of catching Russia. I doubt Albania will be able to pull off two great wins in a week and we definately won't be complacent after seeing that result. With Keano back, we should win the game.

I didn't know Roy had agreed to return. That's great news, we'll surely qualify now.

Haven't you heard? There's only one Keano (two if you count Michael). Not from Cork either!

As for the match... if we can't get results in places like Albania we don't really deserve to qualify from the group, if we're making a pretence at being a force this is a game we should comfortably win.
