For what its worth I've seen him play at college level here and he's a very tidy player with bags of potential

He was only drafted so low because the MLS clubs know that he's European bound due to his EU passport. He can easily get on with a club in Scotland or the Championship and make more money than he will in the MLS. The MLS have a single player cap of $400,000, this is chicken feed for a team like Charlton or Wolves who could pay double the wages to have him. He'll go to Europe, either sink or swim, and will have an MLS career waiting for him if he wants it.

The fact that the 2006 College Player of the Year was drafted so low does suggest that he has some pre-arranged deal. He's on trial with Aberdeen at the moment.

also at Forest according to Mo Johnston:
He's over at Nottingham Forest, he's training. Will we sign him? Who knows? I've taken a 50-50 gamble on it.

On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"

    And they nearly did.

Lapira was considered the top talent in the draft but teams were scared away by his intention to play in Europe. I hope he goes to Forest and helps them get up to the Championship. They are also about to sign Leon Best according to eleven-a-side.com

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
