Can they not ask the club to move their game to Saturday so we can play them Saturday afternoon.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Would be much better for all concerned if the game was on the Friday.
Playing on the Saturday after a night in Galway won't be the easiest thing to do.

ya if we could get 11 that could play on the friday it'd be way better. im sure we could manage, even if we didnt have as good a team as the last day we'd get by like.

    Friday would involve :

    (a) Rovers supporters taking a half day off work,
    leaving Sligo around 1.00pm
    (b) GUFC supporters taking a half day off work
to play a match around 4.00pm, which no one will attend,
and very few will play in

    Saturday would involve :

    (a) Rovers supporters having a good night out in Galway
    (b) A good turnout of GUFC supporters on Saturday

GUST will organise food, etc for Foxes afterwards. Possible
KO 12.00pm - 1.00pm. There are several buses back to
Sligo from Galway in the evening.

Are you up for it ?

The strongest panel of GUFC supporters that we can get together.

At least we won't have lads running around the pitch in Man Utd and
    Arsenal tops

Main priority is to get our Cup back.I persume Dangan will be the venue?
Close to Terryland and is a copy and paste of the pitch we played on up in Sligo.Mervue and Drom wouldn't be big enough.

Mervue is where GUST normally play our matches.

The pitch is approx same dimensions as the one in Sligo.
    Changing facilities, showers, also available.

The pitch in Sligo seemed to be shorter and wider than Mervue.
Mervue United have always been very courteous and co-operative
to GUST, we are also building bridges with a local club by using their facility.

Back to bailebans house for tea and scones afterwards !

It will be on an all weather pitch. Terryland Park is used by the Galway FA for
junior and juvenile matches, as well as some GUFC U21 matches.
