Thumbs down Official website goes offline

www.athlonetownfc.com has ceased operating due to it not meeting the standards set by its webmaster.

Just shows the lack of information coming from the club when even our own website can't move forward

Many thanks to Ray who has given up a lot of time and effort on the website over the past 7 years keeping us up to date with all things Athlone Town (That is whenever the information was passed on to him)

What else can go wrong this season?

Just noticed this; poor form alright - new ground, no website. I thought it was one of the good ones too. Any plans for a replacement?

From what I hear they are working on it at the moment. It is sad that it has happened but keeping a website up to standard and getting constant content is no longer a part time voluntary job especailly if you want it to be the best one out there.

It is time in our club to take the next step and get a payed media person involved for website, programme, press releases etc

That is a great shame, I went on it this morning to get some information to find it's gone. Terrible...
