It's true what they say, the Celtic Tiger didn't even stop to take a leak, in some parts of the country. I trust modernisation bypassed you, while you lived in Limerick.
I never said I used them....In case you didn't notice I was replying to a Sligo man. They don't do technology up in those parts

Strangely Im far more likely to cry at a book than a movie........Didnt cry at this one but will admit I cried at the last one

I cried reading Memoirs of a Geisha but not at the movie! Yeah books suck me in more so feel more of an emotional attachment to them.

Anyone else think the last Harry Potter book trailed off a bit in the last few chapters? Particularly SPOILER: in the chapter where Harry and Dumbledore are talking in Harry's head? After Harry was supposedly killed by Voldemort? Didn't like the way the book seemingly had to mention every minor character from the entire series. Like Cho Chang getting a two sentence outing for instance

I don't think that trailed off to be honest. What the reader found out in that chapter about Snape's loyalty and why he killed Dumbledore was an important thing to know.

Yeah I know, it just seemed like a bit of interest was lost there, for me anyway. Personally I was glad to see the flashbacks of Snape as he has always been my favourite character, it just seemed to slow things down after the SPOILER: blatant Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe rip off that was Harry heading out into the woods to sacrifice himself to Voldemort and his followers. I mean even having his friend bring him back crying, and to say that in sacrificing himself he protected his friends through Old Magik? Jesus she couldn't have made it any clearer if Harry turned into a lion afterwards, and I found it hard to get into the final battle

Well I think you're being a bit overcritical Jebus (though my brother whinged about the final battle too. I thorougly enjoyed it). Also I want everybody to know that Jebus shamfully skipped about 800 people in the queue in Limerick. One particularly short Man Yoo fan was especially outraged.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

just finished it there.. usually i finish them in a couple of hours but this one i didn't find to be that much of a pageturner..so i let it stew for 2 wks!

SPOILER: always knew the ba***rd was gonna live though

thought the ending was alright though.. nothing special..
final battle could have been so so much better..
