City are next in action on Wednesday evening at 5pm at Garryduff against the Cork AUL.
Good results and it'll be good for the players to see what it feels liek to win away from the cross. Hopefully they liked it!![]()
good match report also, fair play to the official website
carey in midfield?
An experimental United side lost 4-1 to a strong Cork City side last night. City scored on 10, 54, 86 and 90 mins, while Mark Herrick scored on 84 mins for Galway. United fielded several young players and gave debuts to Marco Rapetti, Nicky Curran, Barry Mulligan, Ronan Gibney, Charlie Burke, Stephen McGuire, & Kevin Walsh.

Fair play to citynet. As always the only place you can get upto date City news (not rumours).
the owner of the website deserves a medal for the time and effort he puts in.
Other than the starting 11 and the fact that Conor, George and Warren came on, anyone know who else got a runout?
Is Grogan around, is Flynn injured....
ta.
Flynn took a knock against rockmount don't know how serious
apparently devine played some of the match last night
A comfortable win in what was Pat Dolan's first official pre-season friendly. Late goals flattered City, but they were always in control as Dolan again made multiple substitutions. John O'Flynn missed the match with an Achilles tendon injury, and Noel Mooney again deputised for Michael Devine, who is still recovering from his broken thumb.
Cork City: Noel Mooney (Mark McNulty 73); Neal Horgan, Alan
Bennett, Dan Murray, Gareth Cronin; Alan Carey (Dave Warren 70), Michael Buckley (Conor O'Grady 53), Greg O'Halloran (capt.) (Colin T O'Brien 73), Billy Woods; Colin P O'Brien (Denis Behan 70), Kevin Doyle (George O'Callaghan 73).
Scorers: Mark Herrick 87; Kevin Doyle 10, Dan Murray 52, George O'Callaghan 89, Dave Warren 90.
