After 2 frustrating bets in the past week or so, getting 2/3 up on the eL last weekend and 3/4 on the Scottish soccer midweek, I'm going to be a little more cautious this weekend. Starting with a bet on the First Division games tomorrow night. Which is going to be either.....
1. Finn Harps HT/FT v Wexford Youths. 6/5 with PP.
or
2. Finn Harps/Shels double. A shade under 5/4 with Boyles.
I honestly can't see us coming away from Finn Park with anything. Finn Harps are unbeaten in their last 11 league games, chalking up 9 wins and 2 draws. Their two drawn games have been away to Dundalk and Cobh. They have won their last 5 home games, and were leading at half-time in 4 of these - beating Monaghan with 3 second half goals in the other. Granted, we did beat them 2-1 up here earlier on in the season, but I can't see lightning striking twice.
I'm giving Shels the nod in the other game. Anto Flood is in flying form and hopefully Monaghan will be brought back to earth following their 2-0 win against Dundalk last week {which let me down in a treble!}
I'm still undecided what to do, but after typing all that out I'm convinved both bets are certs. Will probably end up doing them both, knowing that if only 1 of them comes up it's pretty much nothing lost/gained
Edit: And if 1 or other, or both, of the bets don't come up I feckin hope it's not because Monaghan got something at Tolka!
