    Dublin SC

AGM Tonight in Kate McCauleys, Clanbrassil Street, 8pm

Won't be able to go myself, but have heard that (how can I put this sensitively) people are pushing for a regime change... Certain members that have in the past been less than popular, and have been seen receiving the acclaim in Tolka on the pitch, are rumoured to be on the way out....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

    a story...

    story one:

... the Dublin supporters club were arranging a presentation to a pub in Dublin Town, a jersey in a frame... the afore mentioned creature hadn't the supporters club cash to pay for the presentation of a third party...

the third party refused to hand over the gift until paid up front for it... the creature had to ask the reciepiant for the cash to pay for his own gift...

    What a chimp...

Besides, I'll be forming the Roundwood SC in the not too distance future (and it's nearly a shame that Bray aren't going to be around to see the banner)....

    story two:

A big fuss over a cup of tea at half time in Flancare... the creature went into the sponsors hospitality suit and was refused admission... he went mental and said I gave the club €1000 and the fcukers won't give me a cup of tea... he went mental and caused a huge scene... the €1000 euro was the hard earned cash of the Dublin SC he claimed as his own...

    the chimp...

In all seriousness ( ) if there is a regime change I may consider going back to the meetings... There is a gap there (to a certain extent) that can help the club financially and be a forum for ideas like those myself and Xlex have raised in the past here....

However I won't commit until I go to a meeting and see the story - I am not getting back into it if it is just going to be an outlet for inane drivel, reminiscing about old times, playing spoons, and basically doing about 10 minutes actual business over 4 hours...

The new regime must get the meeting done and dusted first, then there is plenty of time for (optional) chat....

well, I agree with you to a certain extent, but I don't ever think the Dublin SC will be a platform for any of these plans...

I think that we will have to wait till the chance arrives but I also think that it will be too late to help enhanse Longford Town, it will be something to get off the ground when **** hits the fan...

A few ideas in progress, such as a fundraising do, thinking of having meetings after games.. up to yourselves if you want to head over and see for yourselves. No plans on buses for away games yet. the Chair, Vice Chair have been newly elected and i think definitely for the better.

Eh, any chance of names of the new chair and vice chair (and the committee if you can)?
