Lads we had 7 foot.ie players today, there was also 2 i brought who don't post here and we had to get a lend of one and even then we had to play 10 v 10 because of the lack of numbers on our part. It almost defies logic that you can't find 11 football players on a football website, granted that a lot of teams are nowhere near Dublin, you still should be able to find 11 handy.

As for the game it was close untill the 2nd half where fitness had a big say, regardless the better team won but we gave a good account of ourselves anyway. It was a good game played in good spirits with no nastiness whatsoever.

To the lads that did show up fair play, it was nice to meet you and i hope to play football with you all again sometime. In my opinion the best player on the pitch by a mile, was Sniffer.

    Anto.

Better than most we've seen in Tolka and around the grounds this season tbh.

Would have loved to play but I couldn't due to poxy work, even missed my own game yesterday because of it (and will miss many more). Starting back college soon so if there is ever a kick about on a weekday evening (apart from Monday) I'd defo be up for it.

Yeh sniffer was good. Des sign him up. We don't have any left footers do we? And anto, there were 8 foot.ie posters. Only one of them on the winning team though We were muck tbh even though we won. You gave us a good game though. Fair played lads

I thought we did pretty good today. Respectable scoreline but could have been tighter if I hadn't stupidly given away the ball twice which lead to goals for them. Wouldn't mind another game against them. Also as has been said already Sniffer was quality, even playing dummies in his own box.

As Anto said, to get seven players after 23 pages on the most argumentative of football sites is astonishing.

However, deservedly 1-1 at half time and pretty comfortable with me only making one comfortable enough save is pretty good. Even a good bit into the second half, it was back to 3-2 before fitness, familiarity and a bit of skill told before a consolation goal to bring it back to 6-3. Good periods of pressure where maybe a final pass or shot was missing too.

The better team won and since they were at pains to point out that it wasn't their full strength team , we did ok. I had half the work as last time out and yet conceded more goals though.

MOTM: 'Art' who scored five (?)
Foot MOTM: Sniffer, then DmanD...then a.a.d.

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

I feel a little hollow at having missed out. The first time since moving that a non-Blues matter has made me feel that way.

I think a part of me may have died.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Have to say lads really enjoyed the game, Feeling it this morning but it was my second game in two days one of them being in Sligo. Have to agree with Anto the ref was An Absolute Disgrace He allowed them to continue playing even though the ball had gone four yards over the line for a throw, We switched off expecting the throw and they went on to score their first goal. RRS I tell ya.

At the end of the day the Heat,Altitude, fitness,we have never played on the same pitch as each other and the fact that the ref gave us nothing all day (have I left any other Rico excuses out)were the main reason we lost I think.

I think there was something about the rear echelon being denuded, but maybe that wasn't an excuse. I find it hard to tell with Rico.

To add to his already glowing praises, Sniffer's a fine player. I thought Anto was pretty good in midfield in the first half - good passing and close control.

1-1 at half time, fitness was definitely the biggest difference.

    Also, sorry about the ball.

Agreed, that the throw-in that never was turned out to be a pivotal moment in the game. RRS. Thought we were well in it until the legs started to fail in the second half. Conceded some soft goals. Reckon we could take them the next time. Feel like changing my user name to Stiffer this morning 'though.

I'm really annoyed at not being able to make it myself however circumstances contrived earlier in the week which meant a different part of my life happened on Sunday as opposed to the original date of Thursday.

Would love to be part of another game if it comes around.
