I've got both, but have only played Fifa07 so far.
What I think is -
The management part is good, the football isn't bad, passing is the key which I find a lot more satisifying. The goalkeepers are bad though and quite often spill the ball.
I also find that fouling is far too easy and people get sent off far too easy.
I would say this game is a 7 out of 10. Not the finished article but definately enjoyable.
How do people compare this to Pro Evo 6(might install this tonight)

Pro Evo is far superior, FIFA may have all the names and teams but PRov Evo gameplay is miles ahead

Haven't yet played Pro Evo 6. I enjoyed Pro Evo 5.
But I have to say, I think your very harsh on Fifa 07. Have you played it?
I do admit previous versions of Fifa have been poor, but I think Fifa have moved into the right direction this year.

Yep!
I don't have either but have played both a good few times. Just play Pro Evo and you'll know yourself. Ill admit FIFA 07 was a vast improvment on previous FIFA games but its still has a long way to go to equal Pro Evo. I only have Pro Evo 4 and still consider it to be better than FIFA 07 even though its two years older.
1. City till I Die, has done a LOI patch with 18 of the LOI teams.
2. It will be a lot cheaper now that Pro Evo 7 is coming out in a few months

Ihave played it and agree it is improving but im my opinion, thats all it is, opinion, i think pro ev is miles ahead of fifa.

Whats a modded copy of the game?
You mod your console to play "backed up" copies of the game, all Ps2 patches for the game require you to change the entire games structure so the only way to play them is with a modded console as its not an original disc your playing on.
Tbh its only the reason that makes modding your console legit, everyone else just copies games and plays them with modded consoles.
