Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Didn't see the game but what were the odds on a Man City win? Well done to the blue half of Manchester.

    8/1 for the 2-1.
On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"

    And they nearly did.

That's not great. I was expecting something like 40-1, after listening to Cas and Lawro on the Last Word it seemed like Man U had just to show up to win.

Rooney rested because he played mid-week Benitez gets crucified because of his rotation system. Fergie is seems is beyond criticism or was Rooney injured? They've lost 3 games whenever he didn't play.

Ahh, I was wondering why his name wasn't on the team sheets in the papers this am.

City deserve credit for taking their chances, in the opening 10 minutes I thought it was going to be a hatful of goals, but Giggs did precious little after having a shot tipped over early on, and Tevez was denied by a fantastic save.
City were well marshaled in defence by Dunne, who rediscovered his form from the Liverpool game, and Hamann always provided a dig out for the back 4.
Vassell's goal was the first thing he's done right this season, he could have had a hat trick in the first 20 minutes against Sheffield United, and he scored against Man United with almost is first touch of the ball!
Hopefully City's blip is over now and we can use this result to carry on to a European spot.

It's funny to see Queiroz blaming the internationals for the Man U players being tired. Man City have internationals too, Martin Petrov for one.

Maybe the trip to Saudi Arabia could also account for some of the fatigue, hmm?

Given that Fergie high tailed it out of there for a trip to South Africa to promote their tour there in the summer, I fully expect him to blame that for picking a bad team this weekend!
