    Hull sniffing around Conor Sammon

There was a Hull blazer in the hospitality area at half time (couldn't these people be more discreet?). Word about Sammon must be spreading around with local rivals Leeds interested (hehe, Leeds now on a par with Hull). Can't figure out who else they'd be looking at and if they're after O'Donovan they're looking for a striker.

Apparently they wont be looking at Roy anymore. Were keeping him. Hull not interested cos price is too high

Could you hold that face straight until the deal is completed?

He scored a nice goal tonight, O'Donovan didn't score in his last game. QED.

Sammo's a good player if you build your style of play around him. He would do a decent job at League One level if that was the case.

not too sure about that,he battles well and will chase the ball all day but his first touch lets him down an awful lot and at higher levels in the game you just wont get away with that. so i think its smart business on our part if we sell him.

While Sammo would be a huge loss as he is so good in the air while being unstoppable on the deck I need money to pay cheerleaders and clowns and the like so if we were to get say €250K It'd soften the blow of losing him.

Hull are in the Championship, which is a division above Leeds. It would be hilarious to see him line-up alongside their other planned signing, Juninho

Quigley would seem more likely imo.

Or it could have been a bloke who thought Hull City trackies are all the fashion rage.

Denis Wise with impressed with Conor Sammon when he came over to have a look in Belfield earlier in the season. I know cause I overheard him asking somebody who he was. But there may not be a Leeds United in a few days so that won't be a good move till the dust settles one way or another!
