    Unusual...

Aertel p.222 has a match on tomorrow between Shamrock Rovers and Notre Dame in the National Basketball Arena to "promote sport in Tallaght". Anybody any idea what that's about or what's happening? Can't imagine Bazza making his debut for the Scum playing basketball...!

    He did indeed!!
Have to say whilst looking like a tough tackling little bugger, his passing was way below standard ( seemed to rememeber it being alot better last year any time we played citeeee! )

In saying that he looked eager & up to matching the bigger Kildare lads physically, all in all still reckon he could be the player we've been mission since Toaler left!

    Some haircut as well btw!!!

    Doh!!!
He is too, got carried away with being on a citeeee forum! ( might as well be anyway ) Straight away was thinking about our super new midfielder signed from the banks of the river lee!
Ah its been a long weekend, we're all allowed a mistake or ten!

Ryan actually looked quite good & certainly snuffed out dodgy situations fairly quickly, & looked good handling dodgy balls!
The defence looked quite happy having him behind them, though in saying that I really like TOD & have no problems with him ( in fact he pulled off the save of the match ) but having IMO the best keeper in the league & TOD as back up is saying something about the strength of our new squad!!

How is the 'new professional era' at Pats getting on?
Believe ye were a bit iffy against Dundalk the other day!!
But sure in all these friendlies its going to be while before teams are up to speed & looking ready for action, on that basis i was quite happy with our performance on saturday!

Christ Rovers are playing him outfield, maybe that's why he left.

    See here

Nothing worried me too much. I mean we played 20 odd players in the game so its hard to tell about most newboys. Next few weeks should be interesting and I'm dying for the new era to kick off

See above!! Weekend blah blah, long blah blah, mistakes blah blah...................... you get the message !!!

Though in saying that, he couldnt be any worse than some of the stiffs i've seen playing in the last few years, shocking!!

In saying that I'm so looking forward to the new season I've decided to even bring to an end my self imposed exile from Belfield!!
never thought i'd even contemplate such an event but i am hoping to attend as many games as possible this year having only missed 4 last season! ( incl the 2-1 win in belfield! ), with 2 games away to yer lot its too many to miss out on!
Hope its not raining though, such a depressing dump when the weathers bad!

Hopefully there'll be some nice buiding work to look at on the other side.
