    Drogs Galway OFF

Floodlight failure and threat of lightening apparently.

Yeah, that's a kick in the balls alright. At what time was the game called off?

Just after 7 according to errortel. Glad it's off, as our squad is very bare, but we'll give them a good game with the 3 new signings and Alan Keane on his way back.

Any ideas when it will be rearranged for. And will Setanta still show it?

    Ironically, they are called floodlights.

Game was called off one hour before kick off.

Twenty years attending Drogs ganes and this is the first to be called off. Absolute torrential rain from 6-7pm. Pitch drains exceptionally well but this was unreal. Decision was made by the match referee , both managers in total agreement , and with the likelyhood of further lightning strikes the right decision was made IMO.
