    Emergency Passport from the UK

Lost my Irish passport last night, obviously ive cancelled it and reported it to the police. Just wondering what the procedure was for getting an emergency one from London, how much id have to pay and how long will it take to get one? Thanks!

Nice one! Which would come through quicker though, applying for a passport or provisional?

You can travel from the UK on any Photo ID ( such as driving licence etc ) I know An Post do a service that will have your passport with you in 10 days i did that last time i needed it quickly . I'd Guess a repalcement one would b about the same .

You could allways try going to the airport and start crying

Only if he's going to Ireland, if he's going any where else he'll still need a passport.

Applied for one today, once I fill it out, drop it to the embassy, it'll take ten working days for it to arrive. The only problem is.........

THERE'S A BLEEDIN' POSTAL STRIKE HERE!!! Typical.
