Cork City appoint new general manager
Cork City FC have appointed Aidan Tynan as their new general manager. The 43 year old Tynan holds a Master degree in Management from the University of York and is a Graduate of both the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.
His background is in sales, marketing and stadium management and has previously been Chief Executive of the Irish Greyhound Board and General Manager of the Sales Division of Almarai in Saudi Arabia.

City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!
Interesting, looks like City will be buzzing over the next few months, can't see O'Donavon been muzzeled though

Very interesting indeed. Looks like a very clever signing by City as he clearly shafted by the Greyhound vested interests.
Some very impressive improvements being made in the background in the last year. I would think we have more professional people off the pitch than any time before.

A Galway man. Local reports suggest he is capable, progressive and RRS during the Greyhound Board controversy.
Good Luck to City and Tynan with the new appointment
Less Whining
Less Moaning
What are YOU doing to make it better?
This is a heavy weight appointedment. I doubt there is another club in the country with our off the field infrastructure.
Pity they seem to have forgotten about the team!
Yes, Mr. Little appears to be fronting some radical overhauling.
Pablo, do you reckon any of Ryan, Kelly, Kearney, Murphy, Healy or Farrelly are any good?
Last years team was together a long time.
If you allow for Ryan and Kelly settling in at the back, I think the signs of change are good but quite clearly there is change.
To say they've forgotten the team is completely accurate, but only if you roll back the clock to this time last year.
