It was a good game alright. As someone who has little interest in current games would like to play it again.

Still as good as ever, it can be played on your pc now with a ps2 pad using emulation.

Does anyone have a link to the manual for 96/97?
I loved that game, and have it still, only I can't get past the security password bit (where it asks for word 5 on line 12 of page 17).
Alternatively, any way of skipping it?

No, that's not it. It's the actual manual which came with the game, and the computer asks you to enter a word from it, so you need the exact manual, line for line.
Or alternatively, you could do what I just did and take a random guess at "Games", which turns out to be right. Or maybe the password is turned off and I'm only finding this out now. Either way, I'm off to play SS (could actually be an earlier version, possibly 1994). See yez sometime on Sunday!

Unfortunately, mine appears to be Sensible Soccer 1992. I'm going to have to trust to randomly guessing the right word!
