Where do the Echo get 'em?

in his weekly 'Guff Spotter' column in the Echo tonite Larry Ryan refers to "that legendary king of Sunday afternoon Chicken League commentary, Philip 'Rovers one-to-nil' Greene"

This should nearly go in the "eircom League vs Premiership" thread because it's the exact type of ignorant comment that the lads are on about.

There's no email address for the cnut.

I would suggest that everyone email Liam Horan, sports editor of the Echo, and state their disgust that such a stupid ignorant comment was printed in the paper.

Who is this Larry Ryan anyway? He sounds like a right boll0x!

You are probably wasting your time.
Horan will say that "Pat Graces Fried Chicken" used to sponsor the LOI and it became known by everyone as the Chicken league, and there was nothing wrong with saying what he said.
It's only the Echo, and nobody reads most of the sh*te in it or believes any of it.
