Absolute mank... makes it look like a cross between a cheap Celtic-like jersey and an eighties reject kit. Whats the two collars worn by the two models in the Star about? wont be buying it myself anyway, Umbro can make some piles of sh!t sometimes, remember the orange shirt? Bring back adidas...

It has some $hite lighter green hoops on it. Now all the tits in their Celtic jerseys won't stand out as much.

Didn't Charlton (Athletic) do something like this just a year or two back? Think the fans nearly rioted over it. What chance of that happening here, i wonder?

Lads, Whos up for a riot !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

and its still got that Eircom logo on it. Why arent other international kits plastered with sponsors? I mean you dont see England with Nationwide or Scotland with Safeway logos on their kits on sale to the public, so why should we?

And once Eircom stop sponsoring the team and el, then they will just bring out a new one.
It's only just begun...............

i dont get the big deal about the logo on it.
If clubs don't care why should Ireland?

Think the point being made was that you're not buying a replica kit because the international side's actual kit does not have the sponsors logo on it.

I don't care either way (as I won't be buying one anyway) but it does look ridiculous

Rip Off

I was back in Dublin at the weekend and took a look at the new shirt in Lifestyle in the Jervis St. centre.
It's total mank and looks like a 70's Limerick GAA shirt or something. It looks so cheap.
Looks can deceive though as it was priced at €50* which certainly isn't cheap.
Northsiders shouldn't feel so hard done by though since it's priced at €60* in Lifestyle in the St Stephen's Green centre.

*Prices quoted were correct on the 16/03/2003 and may have changed since.

The white away kit only came in at start of the World Cup, so they're still charging 60 euros for it. Cant see them changing it for a while, at least i hope not...

Is it possible to get Ireland shirts without the Eircon logo?

No.
I tried before the world Cup. I had an old OPEL one before though and I got rid of the OPEL by ironing the fcuk out of the OPEL badge!
