Anyone got a spare EP Ticket?

Want to take my kids to Electric Picnic while I can still take them (oldest will be over 12 and unable to go next year) and missed out on tickets so was wondering if anyone had a spare one lying about??

Kids under 12 get in free and kids between ages of 12 and 18 are not allowed to go at all.

You're never too young to enjoy a festival! My kids are concert veterans at this stage with Red Hot Chilli Peppersin Slane, Busted (god help us!), James Brown, 02 in the park, U2 at Croker among the gigs they have been too.

    yeah it is sold out.

I think the way the picnic is set up is class its much more family aimed with the kids for free thing lots of people picnic age have kids now and to be able to bring them along must be great . ive no problem with them toddlers are better than ****ed up 15 year olds that think a festival isnt fun unless your jumping on tents .

Line up is great this year

    Chemical brothers
    Modest mouse
    Good the bad the queen
    Damo demspsey
    Magic numbers
    Iggy pop
    Manics ( maybe )
    beastie boys
    primal scream
    The go team

    etc etc

There will be tickets released the week before the gig a very limited few from returns cancels etc if you keep checking you ll grab one , but they allways turn up .

Just be carefull on ebay , buy and sell what peopel are doing is buyign a ticket when the real ticket arrives they ring ticketmaster say it never came ask them to cancell the ticketS . Then they pop the tickets on ebay so you get an origianl ticket and think everythign is fine untill you arrive at the gig and they scan it and it turns up cancelled

Yeah am not really freaking bout it coz I am that kinda lucky person who always gets tickets somehow. 2nd year at Witnness got a ticket on the day from a tout for only €10 more coz cops were coming, the following year got tickets at face value on the day it started too coz my brother decided not to go. Somehow it always works out for me!

    Hey folks,

To my dismay, ive been let down drastically and find myself without a ticket for the best weekend of the year. The buy and sell/ebay remain a haven for people who have assumed the role of touts trading without the festival spirit as greed has installed itself within the society in which their lifes reside. I am strongly and forever will be against the touting industry. I would appreciate if anyone can point me in the direction of maybe acquiring a ticket at cost value. I will pay it forward as always

    Regards.

I refuse to line touts pockets and if ever have tickets to sell, always sell them at cost.

Jebus, not bad thinking mate. I should be in the NUJ anyways coz 3 of our local papers print my work word for word and never but my name to it or so much as thank me! Time for some payback!

There you have it, you'd be a shoe in to get a pass, just ask your local press for your reference if you need one
