    Drogheda Utd V Galway United

Id say this one could be a dinger based on the fact that Cousins was there for so long and he knows Doolin and the squad fairly well. I think we should be stronger than last Friday with Murphy back in the centre of the park and I heard that the new signings could be ready to pull on the jersey too. I'm being optimistic about this one: 0-1 to the tribes

    Drogheda Utd. v GUFC

Very early start to this thread guys, but just to remind you the Drogs play Bray tomorrow night. A win puts them top and any other result sees Bray go above us.

(Also, Corks victory in Iceland means our next scheduled home game is 99% certain to be postponed).

(Terry can you merge this with Tir Oilean's please? We started the threads within two minutes of each other. No smart references to Great minds think alike / Fools seldom differ please - smilie needed here!)

seriously though - the pressure isint on as much on the road - and theyve 3 wins under them - so i think we can have a right go

They are free too play from the 1st of July AFAIK. So they should be allowed play against the Drogs.

Yeah its a possibility but will they have settled into the squad in such a short space of time. Dont want to see TC change the pairing of O'Flynn ad Glynn though cos its working pretty good as it is. Maybe try the new Fagan dude and let Lester move to the back line where he wont need the pace as much. Does TC have a full squad to pick from on MOnday?

lester needs to move to the bench not the back line he's not up to it, especially back there!!. and i would like to see someone else come in for flynny he hasnt scored in god knows how many games and we're getting way to relaint on glynn at this stage(if you keep him quiet were not likely to score been 2mths since another scorer)
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D

Well I know i wasnt there but the commentators at St pats reckoned he done very well and there is no one else you could use. Glynn is playing well off Flynn so id leave that be

i know but maybe someone beside Glynn who is scoring more might be a better option??(pressure is divided between the two of them from opposition defense)...hopefully the new striker is good in the air!!.

Flynn has scored 4 goals this season (only a few league games ago at LTFC)and assisted a fair few too criticising him is a bit stupid in fairness. and to pre empt your reply so what if that includes penalties. If the supply was better he'd be scoring more. We will have to wait and see about the new Yeboah but he certainly aint tall unless he has power in those dredlocks to knock in a few headers

derek glynn needs someone like o flynn playing beside him. the way we play football opposition defenders always have to mark steveo because he can wi balls in the air, this in turn means there is only one to mark glynn which gives him more space and we know what he can do when he gets space
Homer: I'm gonna make sure these deliveries are made on time.
Bart: Let me come with you
    Homer: Dont you have school!
    Bart: Dont you have work!
    Homer: Ah Touche!

im not critisising him i really like him as a player just saying its been a while since he scored and maybe the new fella should be put in(that was in response to someone saying we have to stick with flynn and glynn)

I was talking to Stevo flynn earlier today and he is still struggling with an ankle injury and may not even be fit for Monday. If that is the case I'd be all for giving Mickey Yeboah a start. I dont think TC will make too many changes, we gave them a good game in terryland, but Drogs are IMO the best team in the league. I still reckon we could get something out f the game if we approach it positively.

WE are going to be pretty light weight tonight with the injuries. No O'Flynn, McKenna, Cooke ad Russell probably on the bench. Hard to see us getting anything from this one methinks. Moran and Glynn upfront doesnt inspire me with confidence. And TC says he may be drafting in some of the u21 lads to cover too! yikes!
