The strange thing is, I kinda like it as well.

Not sure is it cool or not, but Im liking Plain White T's 'Hey There Delilah' at the moment too.

Strangely I had a child at work who wasn't even born when this song was in the charts turn their nose up at me when I heralded this as a great pop single (in a kitsch early 90s way of course).
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Having seen them at the Picnic & my kids querying how I knew every word of their songs I now have to add Erasure to my secret shame.

That is strange. They wouldn't even give you a half day?

Erasure are a great singles band. Never got into buying their albums, but Pop! is a good compilation.

I had forgotten how good they were until I saw him. I think my kids were shocked by how camp it all was too!

Way back when i was recording songs off the radio to tape, I really liked East 17's 'Its Alright'. Thought 2 Unlimited were great at the time too. Even thought PJ and Duncan's "Get Ready to Rhumble" was brill too. Oh the shame.

I think Ches should be applauded and indeed presented with the Lemmy Kilminster Award for demystifying curious mutative facial growths.

Nothing shameful in liking Erasure, a great pop act in their day!! The greatest hits/singles collection is a great listen!

Must say I really loved a couple of Duran Duran songs back in the day - Ordinary World and especially A View To a Kill (bond soundtrack) were 2 of my favourite songs at the time...

Really like that Rhianna Umbrella song at the mo (like the video even more )

    Ah ya.
    Honour the threads title.
    I'm sick of this
"I actually had a weakness for <insert highly credible act> in my younger years."
The signs were very ominous when I was 7 or 8 going around singing Right Said Fred and with the above being a particularly memorable video.

Nothin wrong with either Erasure or Madonna's cheesy song in my eyes.

For my own sins I actually quite like Norah Jones and think Katie Melua is fairly good in a more elevator mood sort of way too. Must be getting old

Its like how I have slipped into the easy listening vein so quickly with Paulo Nutini, Jack Johnson & John Mayer among the most regular of my listened to CDs.

That said even Ian Brown has gone into a laid back mode with his new album so dont feel too bad!
