heard a horrible rumour that F.A.I planning to close there eyes sort of thing again for play offs this year, in other words even if we ye or dundalk win the playoff (dundalk again would be unbelievable)nobody going to go up bar the winners due to trying to make premier smaller. Anybody hear anything on this, what a joke it would be!!!

They wouldn't get away with it. It is layed out in the eL/FAI merger document. The 2008 season will have 3 down, 1 up and no playoffs to reduce the premier to 10 teams for the 2009 season. So whoever does go up this year will have a fight to stay there next year!
