    How do we stop it?

Im worried sick about us moving up to the pike field lads. I know its a done deal and everything, and we need to move into somewhere to beat the licencing thing but come on the home of Limerick is up for grabs in less then 15 months time. Ok we havent been contacted by the committee which is crap, and we havent been consulted about anything with regards a new ground (remember we warned them about moving to jackman) and yet we're ignored again. Ok so we move into the pike field and what, give them (OH **** HOW DO U DO THE EURO SIGN) ahh well give tehm 3.6 million of gov and lotto grants to build a stadium in the middle of knowhere, wehere no one will ever go to? meanwhile on the other side of town the LDMC buy up the markets field and give us the bird....nice. So come on lads what do we do? do we start a trust to buy the markets field and rase moneys outside the club? or do we take a bitter pill and in ten years time when the pike project hands across the social divide we have to go back to the ldmc and ask them can we use there fabulous stadium in the city centre and at a measly cost of something like 3 thousand euro a game??? god theis ****es me off.

    totally agree

the club has this once in a lifetime chance to get a permanent home and they are trying to get the worst located ground in the country - even rathbane is a much better option.
Thomond or the markets field or a revamped jacks are the only option
