Maybe it's because...................we don't have much f***ing choice now, do we?? That said, I forgave McAteer alot after THAT goal against the Dutch.

It's very simple. He is one of the best available at the moment. Where are the other right sided midfielders playing week in week out. However I don't think he will play against Alabani and Georgia. I think Stephen Reid will play on the Right and not McAteer.

    thats EVEN WORSE!
replacing an almost soon-to-be first division player with a 1st division player aint going to help qualification!

    Reid's a good player though.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

what has kilbane, mc ateer and babb done this season?
what has finnan done this season?
what has golgan done this season?
i saw richard dunne play against Arsenal-
i think, and have been watching there performances and i can tell you that neither one has covered themselves in glory.
nothing i can tell you exept battle against relagation! and mostly failing badly as soposedly good players.

Not at all. 10 years time, who'll remember the Irish scorers in Amsterdam? Noone. 20 years time, ask someone who remembers, who scored against the Dutch at Landsdowne, and the name Jason McAteer will be said.
