RIght, reading above I'll also nominate the Village (and it was great up to a point but worst ending ever)

Another that was OK up to a certain point was Jeepers Creepers. I'm not a fan of slasher/horror but it had enough in it for me to like it up until SPOILER: it turned out to be a ****ing goblin!

    Adaptation is great BTW

Ooooooh, speaking of Keira Knightly, add King Arthur to the list.
Jeepers Creepers was awful I though, funilly enough the DVD was brought to my Gaff by the same person who reccomended Blair Witch.

Right that makes King Arthur, two of the Pirates movies, Domino, The Jacket, The Hole, and Star Wars: Eps One on her roll call of shame

Thats True Romance and Christian Slater you're thinking of, and on both counts of Jesus weeping for them you're wrong!!

Tend to avoid films with turkey reviews but.........

Closer - irritates me just thinking of that bloody film

Titanic - Too far fetched. A passenger ship hits an ice berg and sinks in early 1900's. As if................

Theres many more abominations that may be dredged from the memory in the course of the thread.....................

The only film I came close to walking out of was "The Transporter". Utterly, utterly dire film. Jason Statham has been in a few decent flick, but this was total toss. Even the sex scene was boring! Decent fight scene in a garage with the floor doused in oil though.
Deep Blue Sea may as well have been a remake of Jaws.

    The Butterfly Effect

But the worst film ever has to be Tank Girl.

Magnolia is very heavy but not a bad movie. It is however not your popcorn type movie.

I would not go so far to say its a bad movie but I never got the whole Donie Darko thing (too much hype?) eventhough I usually like movies like that...

I will however nominate every Eddie Murphy movie since Beverly Hills Cops. How many times can you dress up as woman?

Wasn't The Village a remake of a Japanese classic?...haven't seen that either but usually the remake losses the point of the original (as in Vanilla Sky - remake of Abre los Ojos)

The worst film I have seen lately was called 'Idiocracy' - an air force layabout who gets frozen through cryogenics and reawakens in the future where the human population has been dumbed down and he is now the most intelligent person alive....

Sweet Jesus what was I thinking

I hope you feel suitably chastened. Footie has condemned you, and what footie does, no man can undo.

I haven't seen it, but I expect XxX2 may actually be worse.

Ah now, it's hardly fair to blame her for The Phantom Menace.

Just checked, and I agree. Amazing how far you'll let one or good films go in a directors rep.
