They might still be PFA union members?

I also think they may be trying to pre-empt a FIFA crackdown on short term contracts of less than 6 months which supposed to be illegal but ignored in England.

They might be but surely they'd have no juristiction in Ireland. AFAIK trade unions cannot work outside national borders. maybe its a typo and Cork mean the PFAI

PFAI have been very quite on this one haven't they, you'd swear they didn't even exist they have been so quite. Maybe they have different priorities though.

The PFAI, Cork City and the FAI have contributed statements etc.

Think I'd rather have the English union at the forefront here. I'm guessing they have more clout than the PFAI.

As im sure you know coming from English clubs wasnt the problem. As explained in the piece above the unrecognised loan deals were......so the cases were very different from any of the others.
