Dundalk, it was. Think the match finished 1-1.

We DID wear your away jerseys at a game back in 1998 (I think) - but it wasn't that one.

The one we wore was a plain White one.

If you're right, then I can tell you for a fact that it's not the first time the opposition played in City in City jerseys due to forgetting their own. Some of the longer standing City fans, like myself, will remember such an occasion at the X, 1991 was it??

The most memorable one for me was Dundalk at the X in 1991 (I think), match finished 1-1. I wasn't even supporting City a year at that point.

Yeah, I always thought that jersey was absolute class as well. Pity the majority, and Guinness, didn't think so.

To tell the truth, I wasn't too dead on that jersey. I think that NMPP, the then fanzine, had a line about it that went something like: I bought my City kit, the away one is s**t.

Yeah, it's about 1995 I'm thinking of as well. S**t, I think I still have that copy of NMPP at home. THAT was an absolutely cracking fanzine, noone producing it gave a s***e what was printed in it or whose nose it got up in the process!!

Have the black and amber as well (lots of hints to herself for me birthday). Bad design with yellow stripes just stitched on, but not the worst. Wore it big time after we left Bishopstown in protest to losing our own stadium!
