...or we just should have gotten an architect to design it in the first place, not some jumped up engineer/ chairman.... if your going to do something do it right!
Does anyone know whether we have had a visit about this? I've heard that it was initially 10 clubs that were visited, so one assumes that it was the 10 premier teams.....
However, just reading on the Pats Board that one of the things that they have to do is widen and lengthen the pitch.... Maybe not the width, but the length will definitely be an issue for us - if we had got past Lovech we wouldn't have been able to play the game in Flancare due to the length of the pitch....
Not sure how we'd get around this, probably move the Car Park end back? I suppose we could take the first couple of rows of seats out of one end and move the walk way back, but then that might effect the license on the disability access....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

"I don’t want to tempt fate, but Thierry Henry is not having one of his best nights." - RTE co-commentator Jim Beglin, minutes before TH struck the stunning winner.
he's an civil engineering drafts man as far as I know. I saw the planning application and he can't even do that much.
Now before anyone else responds your iniating a rant the likes of which macy would be proud of.

The club's had its visit. Brendan Menton and some of his mates were down to take a look around. Apparently there is some work to be done on the size of the pitch, the disabled section has to go in, press facilities, a proper away section with full facilities in that section, also full time grounds staff and a general manager have to be appointed but generally Town are well along the road to achieving the standard necessary. Seemingly the only clubs well ahead are Bohs and Shels which you'd expect given the difference in budgets..
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Well we're rated number 2 so far...

Gotta say dodge, when I read that on the IS board last week I was very surprised.... Infairness our facilities are of a far higher standard, so it must be on the ground staff and general manager that brings you up...Originally posted by Dodge

Macy we were suprised too but one of our directors is responsible solely for licencing. He told us that 10 teams were appraised and we're 2nd. He did say it was premier and first teams so far so they may not have done Shels, Bohs, Longford, Cork...
