400m Hurdles is the longest standing running world record, but not the longest running track & field record

Sacramento is right (The Sacramento Surge beat the Orlando Thunder in the 1992 final)

You're wrong on the boxing Paul

Meaning the answer is a field event? I'm not sure if I've understood this properly.

1996. Keane and Irwin for Man Utd, McAteer and Babb for Liverpool.

1996 is right with Babb/McAteer and Keane/Irwin but in 2004 Man.Utd v Millwall, Roy Keane and John O'Shea played for Utd, Robbie Ryan and Barry Cogan played for Millwall (Cogan came on for Ryan), but certainly 2 Irish players played for each side.

hmmm, i am not so sure....it all depends what your definition of the first heavyweight boxing champ was....i mean boxings first official rules came about in the late 1700s. This is why I said its controversial. Is the question who became the first 15 round winner or is it who was the first winner in the older rules i.e. who was knocked down first without being able to get back up ( unlimited rounds )? 3 different answers for each......

Gerry Ryan came on a sub in the first game. Surprised no one has mentioned that Tony Grealish captained Brighton in both games.
