Well First you’re plainly not welcome in Sligo end of story.
99% of the posts on this thread just don’t believe you have a valid point of view.
And that’s fair enough.
The lads all see themselves as loyal Sligo Rovers supporters and are keen to show that in any way they can and good luck to them.
I don’t agree with the aggression and the total lack of tolerance for another point of view. Its as if there is just one opinion that can be tolerated when it comes to what constitutes undying loyalty to the cause.
But the one point that I have to accept is that you cannot protect a child from the words / actions of another in a public arena. It’s just not possible. I do what I can to minimise it, but you can never just blot it out.
The hammering you’ve taken here is clear evidence that you and your daughter just don’t fit into Sligo Rovers supporters plans. Their Chairman is crying out for new support – but you don’t qualify. So your best option is to take the hint.
You posted last week about your plans to go to the Bohs game, and while some posters yesterday suggested you’d be better off choosing another fixture, nobody offered that very reasonable advice before the Bohs game.
A final point for Sligoman:
You challenged me to apologise for my mistake from yesterday – a mistake I corrected immediately, and one which the majority of posters wouldn’t have been drawn to, but for you highlighting it in the first place because it was edited within two minutes.
I posted the apology as soon as I saw your DEMAND and at least some of your fellow supporters enjoyed my apparent humiliation, because I was prepared to admit my mistake.
It seems I’ll be waiting for my apology to be acknowledged.
Who’s “man enough” now?
