Thank you all for the oppurtunity to understand what is the driving factor behind Sligo and maybe I will see ye at a more suitable game to attend in the future.

Fine take yourself to galway...not much of a fan are you,if you can just swap teams like that?if you're going on with the same sh!te down there they won't make you welcome either.ultras or nothing???what the fcuk are you on about??we have absolutely no problem with you or your children going to watch the game but we're not going to stop singing just to keep you happy!who do you think you are???ultras....like we're some sort of hooligan group or something!!!just shows how much you really know about us.the singing group are as nice a bunch of people as you will meet but we care about our team and are passionate during a game.could it be that you think you are above us???looking down on us because you have a helicopter and all the rest of it??i for one have no time for people like that.maybe you have money but you can't buy the silence of football supporters so if you don't like it get your little helicopter and fly off to another ground, where you will get the same reception.nobody likes sunshiners but we can put up with their once a year visit.what we can't put up with is sunshiners cooming in, getting on their high horse and having a go at the people who follow the team week in, week out.are you taking the p!ss or are you actually being serious?

Well First you’re plainly not welcome in Sligo end of story.

99% of the posts on this thread just don’t believe you have a valid point of view.

    And that’s fair enough.

The lads all see themselves as loyal Sligo Rovers supporters and are keen to show that in any way they can and good luck to them.

I don’t agree with the aggression and the total lack of tolerance for another point of view. Its as if there is just one opinion that can be tolerated when it comes to what constitutes undying loyalty to the cause.

But the one point that I have to accept is that you cannot protect a child from the words / actions of another in a public arena. It’s just not possible. I do what I can to minimise it, but you can never just blot it out.

The hammering you’ve taken here is clear evidence that you and your daughter just don’t fit into Sligo Rovers supporters plans. Their Chairman is crying out for new support – but you don’t qualify. So your best option is to take the hint.

You posted last week about your plans to go to the Bohs game, and while some posters yesterday suggested you’d be better off choosing another fixture, nobody offered that very reasonable advice before the Bohs game.

    A final point for Sligoman:

You challenged me to apologise for my mistake from yesterday – a mistake I corrected immediately, and one which the majority of posters wouldn’t have been drawn to, but for you highlighting it in the first place because it was edited within two minutes.

I posted the apology as soon as I saw your DEMAND and at least some of your fellow supporters enjoyed my apparent humiliation, because I was prepared to admit my mistake.

It seems I’ll be waiting for my apology to be acknowledged.

    Who’s “man enough” now?
    Less Whining
    Less Moaning

What are YOU doing to make it better?

Apologies don't need to be acknowledged, I saw you apologise and I'm happy with that.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
