    little complaint

i know its a bit pedantic but after enjoying the cork game on telly thoroughly the one thing I didnt like was the weeds and high clumps of grass growing up in front of advertising hoardings at the pitch side. When you see tha players being so professional and the new stand looking so well its a pity a few bob wouldnt be spent on a strimmer especially for national TV. Im sure Sky wouldnt let that go unchecked for a game in the premiership and it reflects poorly on our league.

    Noticed that myself.

The pitch was a disgrace as well. Does every underage/inter-company final have to be played in Turner's Cross?

I was at the game & pitch seemed ok to me. Did not notice any obvious bumps.

The MFA own the ground which is why every two bit junior final played there.

I was on the pitch and didn't see much wrong with it.
The point about the long grass at the perimeter is valid though.
Would take less than an hour, with a strimmer.
Perhaps the MFA will invest some of their windfall, from the Sunderland game, in some maintenance tools.
