Sweet, increases (slightly) the chance of an easier draw.

Well, Harps and Galway are both First Division teams really, so no real increase.

    FAI Ford Cup 3rd Round

Away vs Dundalk. Thursday night football. Not an amazing draw either, but we should get through.

Nasty little draw. Could be worse, but Dundalk are on a high because they're top of their division and scoring for fun. Realistically, they're not going to be much better than Bray/Longford/Galway, so we should get through. Not my first choice though.

The Jesuits will find it tough going in Oriel. Looking forward to it.

    Jesuits?

LOL at pineapple's deleted post above.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Boohoo, it takes an hour to get to Dundalk from Dublin so dunno what your complaining about. Should be a very tough game for us and i think you may just be too strong for us especially the way we are playing lately. Having said that on our day we are a match for anyone.

An hour there and back plus the time it'll take me to get to the train station (which is about another hour each way) makes it a less than tempting option when I've got work the next morning.

Don't mind me, I was being facetious. Any idea what kind of crowd you'll take up to Oriel? I remember one particular mentalist who used to go to all of Dundalk's matches but when UCD came up he'd always shout for College. He must be well into his sixties now, I wonder if he'll show.

Ooh strong words from the minnows who weren't allowed play in the Premier. I suppose you're so confident after all your wins against Monaghan and Kilkenny.

An hour my hole. You try travelling on a Thursday and see if you enjoy it.

As a Trinity student I'm looking forward to this. As a Dundalk fan I think it's a hard and boring draw.

An hour to get to Dundalk? Does it not take an hour to get to Drogheda?

Any chance we're running a bus to this one?

It takes just under an hour to get to Dundalk on the Dublin-Belfast train from Connolly and a return ticket (with student card) is less than €15. Travelling by car, from the southside of Dublin, it'll take about an hour and a half - a little more by bus.

Do trains to Dublin actually leave Dundalk after the final whistle?
