    Latest Roy O'Donovan rumours

Just read something there on a Spurs fans site that says that a €1million deal has been agreed for his transfer, spurs scouts had been watching him for 2-3 months.

Don't really believe this myself, anyone hear this though?

    Would be very silly.
I doubt it would take a million euro to get him.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

in fairness you wouldnt get a decent ''league 1'' player for 1million... i think its time we started charging that for the top players...if they dont pay well then leave them off..... LOI is a soft place to get players cheap looking at the transfers over the yrs time that changed!!....
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D

In his latest newspaper column he asks Martin Jol to justify why he won't pay €1million for his services.

I would be very surprised if this was true.

He would cost Spurs 250k in November but obviously if they wanted him would not wait that long. I think might require 500k+ offer to get him in July as likely to be a few different clubs bidding.

He is not better than Doyle before he left but is still raw so clearly lots of room for improvement. His goal against Bohs last week would have impressed any scout.

You never know, depends who is in for him. If Celtic, Tottenham, and one or two other well off clubs want him, and want him badly, then a proper bidding war could ensue.

    Thanks.

If a club waits until November will have to compete against more clubs as price will be decided by tribunal & be lower. If a big club was interested in the summer they could easily outbid smaller clubs.

The Spurs rumour has been doing the rounds for 12 months.

Even if its not Sours i think we'll loose him in July as opposed to the end of the season

Did anyone hear that we'll sell him to Sunderland, in exchange for Stokes on loan, until the end of the season?

I heard that BL says there must be a top striker signed for the remainder of the season if he's sold but i doubt Stokes would come.

O Donovan really looks the part I have to say. Was very impressed with him in your 2-1 win, not just his goal, which was a cracker but his all round play. It would be daylight robbery if he went for less than a million considering what Kevin Doyle has done since going accross.
