Allright Folks, does anyone on this forum have any contacts or involved with Athlone Town?
If so can they let us know what is going on within the club(if anything) with regards to next season and of course the new stadium.
I'm an Athlone fan through and through but i'm glad Buccuneers are enjoying their success with all the effort they have put in with their facilities.
I hope that will push them on it's a great incentive to see what you can get if you have the proper facilities. Corperate sponsership is the way to go, and possibly hook up with a junior club within the locality like Mervue and Galway Utd.
We don't want to end up like Limerick or the Longford used to be!

I echo you sentiments DIDO, I'm p****d off pleading here for some proper PR. NOTHING on the Westmeath this week!!!!!!! The supporters want to know what's going on. I've mentioned how disatisfied the supporters are on numerous occasions to committee members.
I sometimes feel the supporters are being treated with contempt and that there's always a hidded agenda.
It's not good enough.
