Have a lot of time for Roy Walker, and dont think he'll need much time to turn them round.
Even with a tube like Millar in charge they had the CIS in the bag, and were 5 points clear in the league last christmas[ish], a few tweaks here and there, and they'll mount a serious challenge to Linfield next season.
I was wondering what he'd been doing since he quit Catchphrase.

Walker unable to take Glens job
Glentoran have been stunned by the news that TV's Own Roy Walker can't become their new manager, just two days after appointing him as successor to Paul Millar.
Walker is unable to take up the post because he does not hold the required Uefa A coaching licence.
The former Crusaders manager would have to complete a Uefa B coaching course before enlisting for the A badge.
"I'm disappointed that presently I am not in a position to take up the offer from Glentoran," Walker told BBC Sport.
Because the Glens are Uefa licence holders their manager, for both European and domestic competitions, must hold an A coaching licence as a minimum.
Walker planned to start working in the post after the club's Uefa Cup games but before the commencement of the domestic campaign.
The requirement for the A badge was not known to the club until after Walker's appointment on Thursday.
A possiblity for Glentoran would be for coach Alan McDonald to take the reigns until Walker gains his coaching badges.
However, the former Northern Ireland captain, who does possess the Uefa A licence, has stated that he prefers to stay in a coaching role.
Walker hopes to enlist for the initial B badge but it could be a further year before he takes the A course.
"Myself and Alan were excited about working together and we talked about introducing new players but those plans are now scuppered somewhat," Walker added.
"The Glentoran board's view is to work a way around it.
"There are ways you could be creative around it but I want Glentoran to act with integrity and do everything correctly.
"As I understand it I am unable to be Glentoran manager if there's no way round it.
"I'm saddened - I didn't realise the wealth of good feeling there was to me coming to the club.
"I'd like to do something there. I'm more determined to try to make it happen but it is outside my remit."

I thought under Paul Miller that the glens had hit rock bottom, but it appears not,i thought you had got a good manager in Walker, who may not have had the glens playing attractive football but they would have certainly been playing for the shirt and would have been hard to beat.I hope the glens and Walker can find a way around this as it would be nice for one of the other IL teams to shoulder a bit of the burden in the Setanta, and i am also of the opinion that it takes a strong Glentoran to give us a bit of competition to have a thriving league, this past two seasons it has become tedious watching the Glens roll over in Big two matches.

What a joke football is becoming, Badges are for boyscouts. Licence's are for driving. Invented by suits to give less talented and less knowledgable football people a chance in the game. Keeping a good man out of a job.![]()

some problems ahead for the Glens
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls
I'm not saying this because I'm a blueman, but they really are a laughing stock.
They are such a big club, but with small time board members. They really need a complete overhaul from top to bottom of the club. They are in a shambles and if they continue on like this, they will fall further and further behind and with mounting debt, they will be heading towards extinction. Which is not only bad for Glentoran supporters but for the IL as a whole.
