We had a decent start, have struggled a bit since, game is going at 100mph - Kilbane had a decent chance, snatched at a half volley, wide

thats a bit much bobbysands - I know the revs are cashing in on the 'oirish" aspect of this double header, but charging a 2 yr old full price is taking the pi$$

Maybe. It's a really open, flowing game. A bit of a mess at times but entertaining none the less. I'd say we're just shading it but they look more likely to score.

Yeah we started off the better but ECU got better and took control half way through the first half.Ireland came back into it towards the end of the half and have been the better so far in the 2nd half

Kelly is working a double shift at the back.
Good play by Ireland ends with a KK 'shot' that troubled the ballboy.

Never really rated K. Doyle, but in fairness, he's been top notch tonight

Great effort from Potter. Picked the ball up near halway beat a man then tried an audacious lob, just over the bar.

These Ecuadorians are partial to bit of hacking.
Great play by Potter, tries a Ray Houghton v Italy imitation, nearly comes off.

just looked up the official policy for gillette stadium there bobbysands - you may have a case here.
"Stadium gates are open one (1) hour prior to each match and we recommend you allow yourself plenty of time to get inside the stadium. Center Circle Member gates open 15 minutes prior to the Stadium gates and requires a Center Circle ID to gain access. Everyone who seeks admission into the stadium must have a ticket (except children under 2 years old for all stand alone Revolution games) and must consent to search of their person and anything they are carrying"

    Here comes Long for Doyle.

Bruce made a heroic interception but more messy defending.

speaking of ray houghton (hate to say a bad word about him) but not to happy to see him out in athens tonight, - surely would have been more appropriate for a tv slot at giants stadium.....

Long for Doyle 60 mins. Good move.
I'm glad Stan has his priorities right and hasn't forgotten that it's only a friendly.

wasnt very sure about doyle, long or hunt, but after having been at home for the wales and slovakia games they have restored my faith for the next few years. Good characters to them to -hunt and long each took a few minutes to chat and take a pic with my little girl after the training session in malahide - which is worth a few points in my book. dont seem the prima donna types.

Big Jim probably got dibs on a free trip to the States. Ray had to make do with a one night stand in Athens.
