    didnt realise that.

i read that brian kerr was talking about the games being on monday nights coz of t.v.He was saying they(pats) were paid 3,000euros to be on last monday but their attendance was down about 1,000 so he thinks they lost around 2/3000 overall.

As far as I know (open to correction)
RTE- Pay 3,000 to home team 2,000 to away team
TG4 -Pay 5,000 to home team and nothing to away team
Seanta Sports- I dont know utd never on seanta yet

Seems to me like TG4 are following the RTE route of tending to cover games which are handy to their headquarters.

Nice that they have the Drogheda game on. From a selfish point of view I don't get to many away games, so it is great to get to see them.
Plus if the away team get any money from Setanta that is a bonus for the club

Damn - I'm gonna miss that TG4 game, which I could have streamed online otherwise.

Maybe I can find a pub with TG4 at Glastonbury!

Still, at least I'll be flying home for the Cork City and Drogheda games end Aug/early Sept.
