I dunno, it looks kind of dodgy !
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

    heh heh...
I have taken Eurolines return from London to Krakow a few years back before the cheap flights were available.I had flown once before but it was about £240 and that was to Warsaw, then i had to get down to Krakow.
    All I can say is
It was pretty tough going(some funny things happened on the way which did make it memorable, including me seeing the coach driving off at a German petrol station in the middle of the night, me running after it, only to realise he was just turning

It was tough going as it was about a day and a half in total and most of the journey is at night and on motorways so you see damn all. My ar$e was numb. Just make sure you bring a blanket, some food and plenty to read etc. I was lucky to be sitting beside a group of Polish ones who were good craic and really helped me out as my Polish was quite basic at that stage and the drivers and the conductor lady kept speaking to me in Polish. They never made any announcements in English even when leaving London, so thankfully the ones beside me helped translate. They also were baffled by my Irish passport at the border, including the border guard Germ/Poland, he had it for ages. If you like your comforts and get agitated sitting for long periods I would not recommend it.

Overall it was alright(£60 return) until the likes of Wizz Air, Ryanair,Easyjet etc got in on the act so I don't think I would take the bus now. Going through Germany at night it was mostly motorway, but coming into Krakow and passing through smaller roads in Western Poland, nice forests etc was quite nice. Seemed to be a relief passing into Poland thinking I was nearly there only to be told "We've got another 8 hours"

    Any questions, just shout.

I used to work in Irish Ferries and Polonia buses do the route all the time (sorry can only find website in Polish, they have an office in the city centre near Bus Aras). They tended to be empty leaving Ireland a lot of the time, making their money on the return. I believe it's pretty good value, but a seriously long journey.

It is long enough indeed and that was me taking it from London. But with the cheap flights available now, if you plan ahead, no point to get bus, if you are quite tall, I would defo not recommend.
