    Cork City vs Sunderland

Cork City vs Sunderland match has been postponed due to Cork City's involvement in the Inter Toto Cup.
It is to my understanding that Sunderland will now play Ramblers instead and Roy Keane will perform the official opening of the new Tony Lane stand.
    GREAT NEWS FOR THE CLUB!

    I wouldn't be surprised.
The club themselves have no interest in this match.

Its taking place for the MFA so i doubt it would be played in St.Colmans Park.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

if and if we play them i want it to be in coleman park ive really had enogh of the cross for one year, i heard it was an arrangement with the MFA but i dont understand why that is, would be a nice way to open the new stand.
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

Because Drumaville wanted to get 3 Irish cities but Roy Keane is a Ramblers man.

that still doesnt explain why they arranged a fixture with the MFA

because the mfa control turner's cross. all sunderland care about is marketing their club to cork people and they need turners cross. they'd play avondale if they had to, it probably wouldnt make a difference. we get turnstiles, they get barstoolers.

The match is a fundraiser for the MFA so since the capacity of the X is a lot bigger than Colmans they'd be mad not to play it in Cork, whether they're playing City or not. They'd fill the X no problem.

What's the proposed date for this game?
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?
