Worst song by a band you like.

To avoid the likes of Barbie Girl.
Contenders for me would be a few songs off Be Here Now,
    You're tender and you're tired.
and You stole the sun from my heart.
I wouldn't really be considering the early Beatles stuff so I'll go with Kokomo by the Beach Boys.
    What were they thinking?
Ooh, I want to take ya. Come on pretty Moma.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

    anything written by u2 after 12pm, September 4th, 1995.

If i have to choose one, it'll be the bland and pathetically lyric'd Vertigo.

    "Unos dos tres catorce!

    Lights go down, it’s dark
    The jungle is your head
    Can’t rule your heart
A feeling is so much stronger than
    A thought
    Your eyes are wide
    And though your soul
    It can’t be bought

    I can’t stand the beats
    I’m asking for the cheque
    The girl with crimson nails
    Has Jesus round her neck
    Swinging to the music
    Swinging to the music
    Oh oh oh oh"

Its fourth class stuff in fairness, and the "u2 by numbers" backing track is little better.

One second before i became a teenager. Freaky.
    Why then?
    When they started writing Pop?

Just thought of another one that I'd probably be on my own on.
    Fools Gold.
I just don't like to consider the Roses as a dance band.

You're deffo on your own, Fools Gold is a classic.

    Others to consider
James, Born of Frustration where Tim Booth thought he was in Simple Minds for 5 minutes.

Prince - Whole chunks of his slushy psuedo R&B rubbish, stick to the funk man.

The current single from the Manics (with Nina from The Cardigans).

I don't know what it is called, but i cringe when I hear it on the radio.

Not withstanding Suedehead is a great song, there's a lot of stuff on Kill Uncle, Maladjusted, and the album before last that I would nominate for Morrissey.

So basically anything that gets overplayed. All 4 are good songs IMO

Not really,The Cure & Bunnymen songs I quoted are too light-weight imo compared to
a lot of their other stuff.

    I suppose its a personal preference .

Well I'm not a fan of either band (maby the bunnymen a little) so I know they're totally out of sync with their other stuff... (And I wouldn't be a huge fan of those songs either)

To be fair it did contain D'ya know what i mean , Dont go Away , My Big Mouth , Stand by Me and even All Around the world , which imo were all good Oasis songs . probably could have done with tighter production and cutting at least 2-3 minutes from the first and last songs i mentioned.

Thank God I'm not alone on the Morrissey thing. Malajusted was terrible. Haven't listened to it since I was out. Bengali In Platforms is pretty bad too.

As regards David Bowie, rather than a song, I'll pick a decade. With some very honourable exceptions, 1981 to 1991 could be easily misplaced.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
