Can anyone else remember accusations of bad faith on the part of the GAA when they bought the Lodge. Didn't they get connections within AOH to accept their offer even though it was lower than the one tabled by City (Plonk)
As far as I can recall, the GAA made two bids for Flower Lodge - the lower bid had a committment to retain the ground as a sports venue and the higher one had no such committment - the lower bid was accepted.
