Tonights LIVE TV: Pats v Drogs latest

    Setanta. 8pm ko.

    Latest 0-0

Drogs seemed to have the best of the first half. Pats missing Kirby & Ndo so had to move a few players around to try get some possession in the Drogs half.

All Pats in the second half. Drogs barely out of their own half. Grant on for Fitzpatrick.

Pats deserve to be leading. Drogs have strong side out too.

Decent enough game although not be many chances,

1st half we were awful and Drogs on top but still playing hoofball.

Thought we dominated a much better 2nd half with Fahey orchestrating everything. We deserved the goal when it came too

good result for keeping the league open (read: for cork), as drogs going top with a game in hand and unbeaten would've been a big boost for them. obviously a draw would've been better but cant have everything our way (RRS as usual)

I thought Drogs had the better of a very poor first half. Byrne should have buried his chance. Pat's came out with much more determination in the second and dictated the match to their own pace. Good goal by Foley and the game was much easier on the eye in the second half.

Good result for the league. Not that as a Bohs fan I've big pretentions of winning the league, but it's nice to see Drogheda getting a kind of cumupance and when they win their game in hand they won't be a mile ahead of everybody else.

That is funny coming from a Pats fan, Pats hoofed it all night long, everytime the ball came to Maguire or Foley they hit long aimless balls.

O'Neill was excellent last night, hustled and harried all match.
Ndo and Kirby were badly missed in in that their absence reduced Pats to playing a pretty ugly over-the-top game, using their pace up front. Michael Foley had a nightmare - haven't seen much of him but on last night's evidence he's weak enough.
Drogheda dominated the first half without ever looking like scoring (Byrne's chance apart) and without real urgency. Once Pats stepped it up after about half an hour, they were the better team to the end. Actually, going 3 at the back was a good move as Paisley has looked very uncomfortable at left-full and Bradley got crowded out with the extra numbers in midfield.
Not a great game overall, but an exciting enough second half.

Drogheda fans - try not to sing "Claret & Blue Army" song. It has too many syllables and you sing it in cockney accents.

I said the same thing to Pete, after the game.
Between that and their "Yanited" chant, in a Manc accent, they're a very confused bunch! There was one chant, where I was sure they were saying, "We are drunk!"

Anyway, drogs fans should be ashamed of themselves. Not once did they abuse Barry Ryan! Poor Barry will have to get a double dose from Bohs, to make up for it.

In fairness he's coming back from injury. I'm nt a huge fan of his myself, but that was as bad a I've ever seen him play.

I thought Drogheda were singing "rebel army!"

Oh and we played 3-5-2 all through the game. We started with Brennan as sweeper and Paisley as left wing back but he's obviously not suited to that. When we pushed Brannan into midfield and put Murphy back into wibng back (his best position) and put O'Connor on the left we looked a lot more balanced. Mu;cahey made a huge difference too when he came on. He's so important to us

Sure they almost as close to Liverpool/Manchester as Dublin. Lot of dubs in Drogheda now too to add into the accent mix.

Dubs in North County Dublin? Surely not!

Did Pat Dolan ever actually shut up during the analysis? He'd ask Healy a question and then answer it himself while talking over yer man. Really annoying.

Still, he's gone now - Curtis Fleming hosting Bohs v Pat's next week.

Only caught the last fifteen minutes. Was a really good finish for the goal. Strong header, well directed.

I have a questions for the Pats fans: From the camera angles it looked as if alot of the fans at the Shed end were to the left of the Shed and not actually under it. Why's that?

much better view, no roof in the way
drogs fans had half of the camac so alot of the regulars from there moved to the shed as the lower camac is pretty uncomfortable when packed.
with the hill gone its probably the best view in the ground.

    I didn't notice that.
I was certain that they were all in the Inchicore end of the main stand.
