My vote would go to Keith Hartnett of Pike Rovers. Think he has 15 odd goals from midfield and has represented the league and his country this year. He's helped pike to the last 16 of the FAI, what looks like the semi of the munster junior and they are challenging for the league aswell.

alan carroll is a way better player than hartnett and has scored the same amount of goals as him, also does a lot more defensively, covers more ground, stronger, better in the air i could go on

I saw him play for the oscar traynor with hartnett and coombs in midfield. Alan Carroll looked the better of the 3 by a mile in that game. He was everywhere, winning the ball, making runs, winning headers. He played very well that day, but that was just 1 game in which I saw him.

See it, If you have ever watched the junior international trials and see some of the turkeys that get picked , you might want to rethink your comment.. that is not to say that harnett is not one of the better palyers in town but that being an international is not all about how good a player is...

Its very hard to pick a player of the season, credit and recognition must be given to players that get capped. I have seen Keith Hartnett dominate games but I have also seen him get dominated, the same with Carroll and Coombes. If I was to rate them in order I would go coombes, hartnett and carroll but this is only one opinion.
