    April's Goal of the Month

eLW the goals start at the 7:40 mark.

    The contenders are;

Goal A: Denis Behan v Derry

Goal B: Mark Quigley V Galway

Goal C: Eamon Zayed V Sligo

    Goal D: Declan O'Brien V Sligo

Goal E: Shane Robinson V Rovers

Goal F: Anto Murphy V Rovers

Since there is hardly any football talked about on here anymore maybe one of the Mods could set up a poll

My vote goes to Goal F due to the battling of Ndo but it really is the best of a bad bunch in my opinion

Zayed for me. Good cross, great knock down by Fabio and a great finish. Mind you Fabio's taking of the ball down and shot were very good as was Behan's lob.
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week

What is it with Drogs v Sligo and crackers being scored in the games?! Last season Rovers got 2 brilliant goals in the fixture, the same month that Alan Kirby got won goal of the month.

Also they should have a "worst goal of the month" competition. I think that Ger Rowe's goal was possibly the worst goal I've ever seen. The scrap after wasn't bad but it was typical Hoops running away....

Trev forgot to put the money in the meter and the lights went off a few minutes before the end.

That was shocking - pretty sure Rowe's shot was going wide as well before the keeper palmed it in.

    Poll added.

I thnk Zayed's v Sligo was the best myself. Behan's was a nice finish but easy enough to lob the keeper when he's that far out

Jayz, must have been a bad month for goals.
I'll go for Anto Murphys for Ndos skill but the Rovers defender sitting down for a picnic might have helped Anto Murphy a bit.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Paddy Mulligan filled in for Keely. IMO Mulligan probably the best eL pundit.

Mooneys goal for us against waterford was quality,if only tv3 would show it!!
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

I voted for Fabio's but Paul Byrne's goal from 35 yards for UCD vs Waterford would have easily won if it was there.
