just got cancelled(or not renewed) by HBO, so I think you'll only have about 2 seasons to watch unless another cable station like Comedy Central picks it up, wich would be smart, I can't imagine it cost's that much to make.

I've also watched the first 4/5 episodes (via lovefilm) and gave up. Strange is an understatement Pete!

Dexter is utterly addictive and on dvd. Entourage (Let's hug it out!), The Shield are both class shows and the new HBO series True Blood appears to be off to a good start.

I thought HBO was at its best with Rome, Oz, Deadwood and the Sopranos, Rome being my top favorite.

New series of Entourage started in the states on sunday, first episode was ok, not it's best, but still pretty good.

starts on ITV2 tomorrow. If anybody has missed the last two episodes from the last series they are repeated at 2.25am tomorrow morning.

I didn't like the last series as much as the others so I'm hoping series 5 picks up.

Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica next

just back from the states and caught the first few episodes of the new season (5)...it does start off slowly but there's some classics in there, watch out for the one with Ari tripping on mushrooms in the desert, its feckin hilarious!

Nah, my book says The Wire gets that accolade. Stunning stuff. Can't ever imagine it being bettered. (Season 5 was a little less perfect than the others, but still had a great ending.)
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

I'll raise your 2 as I am watching series 3 now.
3rd series is the first one not based on the books. Jimmy Smit has been added as new character. So far so good.

One of my favourite shows & surprised not shown on Irish TV. ITV was also a strange choice for UK terrestrial TV.
