Do you mean this show Nigel?

It's still running! I recently finished rewatching The Sopranos(amazing show) but Glee's butchering of Don't Stop Believin' completely ruins the ending for me now
For once maybe someone will call me "sir" without adding "you're making a scene."

Watched a load of that whilst on planes in the Canada/US in July. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Really likeable characters. It will definitely be going on the watch-list on Netflix over Christmas.
If you can get your hands on the American Netflix, do.

That's the one alright. Didn't realise it was still running. Must get a look further into it so.

Just finished watching the 3rd season of Boardwalk Empire , Probably the best of the lot to be honest. Gyp Rosetti was a great character to introduce

I see what you did there

I've been watching Breaking Bad on box set, halfway through season 4. It's superb stuff. Probably second only to the majestic Wire.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Not sure if it's been mentioned on the thread yet, but I've really been enjoying Don't Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23

Got a few boxsets for Christmas so been slowly making my way through them. Sons of Anarchy is proving better than expected. It's essentially Sopranos based on a Biker gang rather than the Mafia. Watching season 3 at the minute and they've had to make a trip to Ireland. They've already got in a scrap with the PSNI, and are currently running amok in Donegal.

Season 3 is a pretty poor imo, the Abel story line is dragged out a bit too much, terrible Irish accents and they seem to have done very little research into Northern Ireland, the P.S.N.I. look more like the south African or even Australian police. Thankfully they redeem themselves in season 4 which is currently be screened on RTE2 at 12 midnight on Thursdays (think the next episode is the 3rd only discovered it when flicking channels after Breaking bad on TG4 last week)

Watched The Newsroom over christmas. Enjoyed it, and would recommend it. I'm generally a fan of Sorkin though.

Probably way behind the curve, but half way through season 2 of Hell on Wheels, after just finishing season 1. Pretty good fair too.

Really struggling with season 3 of Breaking Bad tbh. I assume it's worth persisting with, but it is a bit of struggle half way through S3.
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

Bearing in mind that they were aiming for irish sounding accents understandable to a wide american audience, it was clear that they couldn't go for authentic ulster accents from the various places depicted. Sadly, most of the "trip" was still filmed in America, they sent a small crew over and recruited a lot of local bikers to act as doubles to film the bike rides/local scenery. Not sure if many(or any) of the cast actually visited here!
I had a bit of a marathon at the weekend and have finished season 5 now. It was a struggle at times if I'm honest, the characters have lost a lot of their likeability and well, I can't see what's left for a 6th season without rehashing old ground/changing the characters original goals?

I think there were a few of them here, my sister lives in Belfast and said one of her friends were telling her he met Charlie Hunnam in a bar round the time of filming season 3.(He is English(Newcastle I think) so probably was much hassle for him )

My Name is Earl, never saw series 4, but at the end of last week I was home alone and sleepless, so started watching it online. Was laughing my head off at parts and enjoying it all. Just good fun.
