Ballinrobe scored right from the kick off but after that Ballyvary really got stuck in and were duly rewarded with an equaliser about 10 mins into the second half. It was a good game pretty open, Ballyvary were probably the better team in the 90 mins. Ballinrobe got a penalty early in extra time and that was that, they just went on from there and Ballyvary heads dropped. But overall Ballyvary will be reasonably happy to have held the premier leaders for the 90 mins. They will be concentrating their efforts on the League.

some pretty big shocks in the cup today!most notably the defeats of manulla and ballyheane.was surprised to see bangor hibs go down to erris's 2nd team also as well as ballyglass losing at home to moyvilla.thought kilmore and inver would have done better also but such is the beauty of the cup eh??wasnt at our own game against straide but heard that fahy were flattered somewhat by the 4-1 scoreline.maybe fahyforever of r. rover could clarify that for me?

how now cloggs, yea i guess 4-1 flattered us a small bit in the end, but we deserved the win well!! was 2-1 for a long time, they almost equalised but i tink we had plenty for them

yea as i was sayin to cloggs 4-1 maybe a bit flattering but still we were they better team by far, although as everyone knows that counts for nothing if ya dont score, and luckily enuf we managed ta stick a few away, overall we were comfortable enuf throughout the game
